All the recipes on this blog are gluten free. I was diagnosed as a coeliac about ten years ago and so everything I cook has to be 100% gluten free. I'm still working on my baking skills and so most of the recipes on this blog are for main meals and side dishes, many of which are naturally gluten free anyway.
I don't use chilli in my cooking as, despite all my best efforts, I just can't manage to eat it. After looking into the Ayurvedic system of medicine and diet I realised that for my dosha (type/constitution) I'm not supposed to eat chilli anyway, and so I've accepted defeat and moved on. You'll notice I cook a lot of Indian food and it may seem very strange that it is chilli-free. I will often note where to add chilli if you do want to have a more authentic, spicy version. It's important to realise though that a lack of chilli doesn't equate to a lack of flavour. Cooking chilli-free Indian food is a great way to introduce these remarkable flavours to children as well.
